Shops in Tignes-les-Brévières

The shops in the village are the Sherpa which is our answer to a small convenience store, where you can buy toiletries, snacks, drinks and bread here. The Tabac has a limited selection of cigarettes but doubles as the souvenir store and is a great place to pick up a postcard or two to send home. The Intersport offers a small selection of clothing to keep you going if you misplace your beanie.
Next door to the Chalet is the Post Office, Tignes Tourist Information and a 24 hour cash point.

Bars in Tignes-les-Brévières

The nightlife in Tignes-Les-Brevieres is legendary and here’s why…there are three bars for you to choose from and all situated a stone’s throw away from each other (and the Chalet);

Bar du Geant is owned by one of the largest families in the village and if you are ready to whip out a bit of French they can answer any number of questions you may have about the resort. Recently renovated to a high standard,the bar offers traditional drinks, a darts board,a pool table and a table football below disco lights.

Vincents Bar is owned by Menno & Ingrid, a lovely Dutch couple, who are extremely friendly and have an array of language skills under their belts. The bar is filled with Vincent Van Gogh memorabilia. They offer American style bar food here and different drinks deals throughout the week… Including a welcome shot for all Eterlou guests. Live music is usually on once a week!

Le Moose is situated just round the corner by the Graveyard. The bar has recently been renovated by Four chaps who have a bar in Zante. They run events throughout the week, including live music, fancy dress parties, DJs. Drink deals feature on the menu as does some good grubb. The tables are still ripe for dancing up on until the early hours.

We simply love this aerial shoot by Vecom Video. They managed to really capture the essence of Tignes in the Summer. The first 15 seconds are of Tignes les Brévières and are just magnificent, we are tucked just behind the church and you can really see how close we are to the high street and the all important lifts and pistes.
